Dr. Graham's Home
The Scottish Vicar Dr. J.A. Graham came to Kalimpong at the wake of the twentieth century. The poor condition of destitute Anglo-Indian children of the local tea estates prompted him to open a school-orphanage in the year 1900, where they could breathe and grow freely amidst love and care. A century and more down the line, the self-sufficient school has grown and excelled manifold in all aspects and is one of the prime attraction of Kalimpong. Jangu Adventures guides you through a walking tour within the school compound, where each building and each tree awaits to tell you a story about faith, compassion and fulfillment. Settled on one of the higher ridges of Kalimpong, the school overlooks the Kalimpong town on one side and the magnificent Teesta river on the other side.
